Thanks to this effect when using externally with vaseline it is a strong antiseptic.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION AREA\/INDICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ALMER IODE IODURE is a local antiseptic because it is a strong germicide because of the active iodine which it contains. Also, it is an irritant, caustic, necrosing, decongestant. It has a revulsive and resolvent effect.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>USAGE AND DOSAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As long as the veterinarian does not suggest otherwise, it should be used externally on wounds and on the skin for 3-4 days. There is no harm to use in pregnant animals.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>UNWANTED SIDE EFFECTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When used continuously for a long time, it causes puddle and rash on the skin. Do not use with alkalines because it can reduce efficacy.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>WARNINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Iodine is incompatible with strong alkaline solutions, ammonium salts, chloral hydrates, phenol, sodium thiosulphate, and starch.<\/li>\n<li>Do not mix with hypochlorites (when mixing the other chlorinated compounds occurs a white toxic gas).<\/li>\n<li>Do not use with mercuric antiseptics because of causing a chemical burn on the skin. Keep away from aluminum, copper, and its alloys.
